Dr Ren Kang (John) Foo

Dr Ren Kang (John) Foo obtained his Fellowship with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2022. His areas of special interests are Paediatric Medicine, Cardiovascular Health, Respiratory Medicine, Travel Medicine, Older People's Health and Chronic Disease management.
Dr John grew up in Brunei Darussalam where he obtained his Bachelor of Health Science in 2009 and later completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at Monash University Australia in 2012. He then worked at Peninsula Health, gaining experience in various areas of specialty medicine including Cardiology, Respiratory, Renal medicine, Infectious disease and Older People's health; even being seconded to the Alfred Hospital and Shepparton Hospital.
In 2019 he decided to pursue General Practice and underwent further training in the community. He has enjoyed General Practice serving regional areas, working in clinics in Wonthaggi, Korumburra and Warragul.
Outside of Medicine, he is married with 2 beautiful little girls. He loves his tennis, running and gym workouts.
